Dr. Peter H. Krawarik was born in Vienna, AUSTRIA and graduated from the University of Vienna with a PhD in Physics and Mathematics in 1965. He started his industrial career in Hamburg, Germany. 1970 Peter joined AT&T Bell Laboratories in Princeton, NJ. There he worked on developing the optical fibre manufacturing process for AT&T. In 1979 he changed to a transmission systems laboratory and held the technical responsibility for several projects of international scope.

1991 he left AT&T to become the Communications Director for the European Institute of Technology in Florence, Italy. He joined Schrack Datacom Ges.m.b.H. 1992 in Vienna, Austria as Department Head for Transmission- and Transport systems for the Austrian and the Central European Markets. In Ericsson, Peter was responsible for Business Development and IT-Coordination in Multi-Service Access. He acquired specific expertise in Powerline Communications. Now, Dr. Krawarik is an independent Management Consultant in the areas of Telecommunications and Business Development.
